Our school has some of the best educational facilities in the country.
We are the first school in Birmingham to be built in the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ programme.
Our new facilities will include:

All teaching rooms have been designed to incorporate the latest Information Communications
Technologies to deliver the National Curriculum.
- Nine modern Science laboratories and two preparation rooms
- A Modern Technology department with new equipment
- Nine ICT rooms incorporating a wide range of cutting edge resources, all connected to a fully managed ICT network accommodating both
Apple Macs and Windows machines
- One extensively equipped Music Technology room with thirty Apple Macs and electronic keyboards
- Thirty five high specification classrooms, all Wi-fi connected with Interactive Whiteboards.
- A suite of rooms for curriculum intervention with smaller groups
- A Main Hall with lighting bar provision, a large automated screen and a projector for
assemblies and award ceremonies
- A modern state of the art Drama Studio with mirrored wall for dance provision
- A Dining Room which acts as a second Drama Room when not in use
for meals
- A Sports Hall and Gym providing facilities for Badminton, Netball, Volleyball, Cricket,
five-a-side Football, Basketball, Gymnastics etc
- A Fitness Suite with over sixty thousand pounds worth of new exercise equipment
- A Multiple Use Games Area for outside ball games
- A brand new rubber crumb sports field
- A modern refurbished kitchen and servery
All of this is due to the £21 million new build and refurbishment of the old school.
