School Closure (24/11/2011)

Dear Parent / Guardian Due to Industrial action by the Teachers Unions at National level, Broadway School will be closed for all students on Wednesday 30 November. We will re-open for all students on Thursday 01 December. R Skelton Headteacher

We are expecting our best every results in 2011. Our staff are working very hard with our students and the quality of teaching is constantly improving. We will also be moving into our new building in February 2011, it promises to be an exciting year!

CONGRATULATIONS (14/10/2010)

Our Contextual Value Added score for 2010 is 1010 which is a 35 point increase from last year and well above the national average. CVA at Post 16 is 1004 and confirms our ALPS judgement of a grade 3 and puts us in the top 25% of schools nationally.

Roger Herd and Pat Mellard each with over 35 years service to Broadway retire this week. We wish them a healthy and happy retirement. We also say goodbye to Jo Pickup and Ruth Nutt and also Sadaf Arif and Geeta Dubay. We wish them all well.
