Work Experience
At Broadway School we believe in excellence for all by raising the aspirations of our students. Work experience placements are an excellent opportunity for this and we seek to place our students with firms that will support them in developing their skills.
Broadway School has a full programme of support for pupils to prepare them to find their own placements which includes identifying their areas of interest, researching business organisations, preparing CVs, writing letters, interview practice and feedback.
In order for our students to gain the skills required for entering the world of work, we encourage them to correspond directly with businesses. This is a crucial part of their skills development.
Who can help you?
Your tutors
They can help you discuss the types of jobs out there and show you the Connexions website.
Jill Roberts
Works for EBP and will be at progress evening and running workshops to support those in difficulty.
Tina Uppal
Your Connexions PA (appointments via Mr Kellond).
Mr Kellond He is the co-ordinator for work experience and is available Monday – Thursday at 3.15 in the CSC.
Your Parents
They may have contacts for you to use.
