Pastoral
We pride ourselves on being a caring school and value open working partnerships with the parents/carers of our pupils. We believe that two way communication is the key to this relationship and encourage the involvement of parents/carers involvement at all the stages of their child’s education.
The pastoral team for each Year group consists of a Senior Teacher, Student Support Manager, Student Support Assistant and the Tutor Team.Pastoral Care within the school is pivotal to the success of our students and Student Support Managers monitor the progress of pupils in order to ensure all pupils are on track to meet their targets.
Should intervention be required this is put in place using one of the many strategies that are available within school, which may include extra support in class, or provision out of hours or in the summer break.
