Message from the Head
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
The theme this week is truth.

Often, if you watch a film or read a book, the story is about getting to the truth. Who did it? What really happened? The truth is all important.

Curriculum - Key Stage 4
Our curriculum has been designed to best match the skills and attributes of our pupils.
musicThe key stage 4 curriculum has 3 different pathways so that we can match it to meet the different abilities of our students. Each pathway has a different combination of academic and vocational qualifications. Within these pathways are optional subjects so that pupils can choose what they want to study alongside the statutory national curriculum subjects.

Parents, pupils and teachers are involved in the options process in Years 8 and 9 so that informed choices can be made. As a Specialist Language College all our pupils take at least one foreign language. There are even opportunities to study at a local college if your child wishes to study something that we don't offer! All Year 10 students also have a work experience placement during the year.
